The CreatorAge Platform is a marketplace empowering people and businesses to buy and sell products and services, or exchange ideas, build networks and trade information. The capabilities of such activities entail the collection and storage of some personal information, by the platform, payment processors and individual users and store owners. In accepting the CreatorAge Terms of Service you confirm that you have read and understand the Privacy Policy, which includes how and why the platform uses your information.

Privacy laws and standards in some regions and countries in the world other than North America and the United States may differ from the country where you reside. CreatorAge only transfers personal information to countries and regions where such transfer is allowed.

Minors and Accounts

CreatorAge account owners are required to be at least 18 years of age. Minors under the age of 18 and over the age of 14 can utilize CreatorAge services only with permission and direct supervision of an adult account owner. Account owners are directly responsible for any activity that is conducted by a minor or minors through the owner’s account.

Types and Reasons for Information Collected or Received

CreatorAge collects personal information and data in order to provide its services. In most cases, you choose to provide the information, but some information may be required to initiate the service. To work properly, CreatorAge Apps and services obtains information from you the following ways: Directly from you through the use of forms completed during registration, from the browsers and devices you use to access CreatorAge services, indirectly from you when you interact with CreatorAge services, from vendors and suppliers on the platform when you interact with them and their services (e.g., payment forms and customer support) and from the CreatorAge Platform internal advertising/promotion systems. The CreatorAge Platform uses Cookies (Cookies are small files that the Platform or its service providers transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information).

We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart, understand and save your preferences for future visits and keep track of promotions, polls and advertisements.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our platform, conducting our business, or providing services to you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Seller and Buyer Information

If you open a store on CreatorAge you will need to provide additional information that includes billing and payment information (with contact name, address, telephone number and credit card information), your name associated with your account and the country of origin of your product or service. In order to comply with applicable laws, seller identity verification is required. For CreatorAge Payments services this requires a full legal name, social security number or tax ID number, date of birth, bank account information, photograph and/or other proof of identification in order to verify your identity. CreatorAge requires information from both buyers and sellers to mitigate fraud and abuse.

Community Engagement Information

Personal profiles used for community or commerce interactions may be provided by you, such as your birthday, nicknames, gender, location, hometown and associations or affiliations. Such information is entirely opt-in on your part and can be changed in your profile settings. Some metadata information is generated by your activities such as when you add products to a wish list, follow a store or member, make purchases, login to the system, make sales, post information, conduct or respond to polls and other general activity. CreatorAge receives and records certain automated information from devices and browsers when you visit CreatorAge.com. The Platform utilizes this information to provide services and can include IP addresses, cookies and data about areas you visit within the creatorage.com domain. CreatorAge does not track sites from where you came or where you go next after visiting creatorage.com.

From time to time we may request certain demographic information that is completely voluntary on your part to provide. Such information requested may include demographic data such as gender identity, race, ethnicity and personal interests. CreatorAge will always ask for such information and provide a method to decline if you so prefer.

Information Security

Most of CreatorAge business is conducted on the Internet and the security of your information is of vital importance to us. Although no security system running over Internet pipes can be said to guarantee 100% security, we utilize industry accepted techniques and protocols to ensure information integrity, including two-step log ins, encrypted critical items such as credit card numbers and personally identifiably data. This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our platform and not to information collected offline.
