Economic Freedom is Personal Destiny
The Creator Age is a new and growing economic era like the Information Age or the Agrarian Age. Only now, the people who do the work of devising new concepts, inventing, designing, creating art, making goods and offering services – the Creators – are the engine that drives the economy.
The Creator Age:
- Creators become the engine that drives the economy
- Makers, Artists, Artisans and Professionals Reap Economic Rewards
- Careers are built independent of big business or the employment market
In previous eras those with access to capital, that is, the money and means to produce, reaped the lion’s share of the benefits of economic success. The economic arrangements made perfect sense in a world where only a select few had the tools to martial the necessary capital to create a business and hire people. For most people, it was far easier to learn a skill and get a job than to build an enterprise.
Recently, the employment world has changed dramatically. Companies no longer hire people as career employees, but rather, maintain highly flexible employment options such as offshoring, outsourcing and part-time employment to keep the business viable. The primary concern of any business is to make certain the business creates profits, not necessarily serving its employees.
Creators are most negatively affected with the constant downward pressure on employee incomes. The makers, artists, artisans, tradespeople and professionals who do the work are left trying to make ends meet on an ever-dwindling slice of the pie.
The Creator Age is the antidote to all this creative destruction. The new economic arrangement is one where individuals have unprecedented access to capital and the means of production without having to start and build a business or suffer the whims of the employment marketplace to realize a rewarding career.
Creator Age tools put the creators in charge of their economic destiny.
